Dust off your walking shoes, pack a picnic and head for Dunsdale Reserve for a pleasant walk through native forest, checking out a waterfall before meandering the banks of the Dunsdale Stream.
The Forks Flat Track will take around 60 minutes to stroll. Starting from the picnic area you'll cross a bridge and follow a well formed track along the Dunsdale Stream banks, past a waterfall and on to Forks Flat.
You can either return the way you came, or once at Forks Flat, cross another bridge and walk back down the opposite side of the stream. You'll find Dunsdale Reserve half way between Invercargill and Gore.
