Te Peka Lookout

Get great views over Taumarunui and the hills beyond and then go bush beside the Ongarua River.  The Te Peka Lookout is that glowing light you see on the northern hill at night (if you are wondering), just minutes from town. 


It'll take about 15 minutes to walk to the lookout through bush.  Follow the track, follow your nose - and see a different side of Taumarunui than you would by racing past in your car.
